Fruit- and vegetable concentrate & NFC
Fruit and vegetable concentrate is produced by pressing the fruits and vegetables, followed by the removal of water from the concentrate through evaporation or freezing. The density of the concentrate can be varied depending on the water content.
NFC (not from concentrate) or direct juice represents the untouched freshness of just- picked fruit. Thanks to direct mechanical pressing, the color, full aroma and vitamins are preserved.
Fruit- and vegetable pulps & purees
Pulp refers to a semi-finished product in the food production industry, which is generally not suitable for immediate consumption. Pulp is obtained from all kinds of fresh fruits and vegetables and, unlike fruit and vegetable purees may still contain pieces or whole parts of the fruit.
Puree is made by processing fruits or vegetables using a cold-press machine followed by pasteurization. Due to the processing in a cold state, the organoleptic properties of fruits and vegetables are preserved. Purees are also available in sterile packaging.
Dried nuts
Almonds, hazelnuts, pine nuts, pistaccio, walnuts (natural, roasted, whole, chopped, in slices, flour)
